This year was my first time attending Diner en Blanc – Cincinnati 2023 and I had a great time.
What is Diner en Blanc?
Diner en Blanc is a worldwide event that takes place across six continents mostly on the same day, rain or shine. People come from all over to attend whatever host city maybe closest to you that will be putting on the event. Everyone is dressed in white and gather’s at a non-disclosed temporary dining setup in a public space that is usually revealed the day of the event. Not knowing where the dinner will be setup is the part of what makes the event an adventure. Attendies are required to provide their own food, tables, chairs and tablecloths. When everyone comes together, with their own touch of class, from how they dress, to the way that they decorate their table, everyone is sure to have a great time!
All I can truly say is that in spite of the cold weather, I had a wonderful time. The ambiance and overall experience were beautiful. From everyone’s personal touch on their table decorations to the live band, the tossing of the dinner napkin, lighting the sparklers in the night, to the beautiful riverfront views of the city. It was great seeing good people I haven’t seen in a while, as well as seeing everyone and everything decked in white was a beautiful site to see. I can say, I love the beauty of my city, the views, and the way it is lit up at night is such a vibe. 
My biggest highlight was feeling such an overwhelming sense of joy, and peace and just being in the moment of everyone just having a good ole time. I have to say this was an event to add to my memory book.
Wondering where my outfit came from??
I pulled it together from…AMAZON* and of course added some accessories such as my white scarf and silver Paparazzi chain necklace around my waist, and my layered pearl and silver necklace. I also had on a blinged-out bangle bracelet paired with pearl and chrome bracelets, and for my earrings, I wore my pearl earrings (a blinged-out ear cuff with a pearl at the end) but they didn’t show because my hair was covering them up but nevertheless, I was able to pull my outfit together for the occasion. Mind you I had to switch up my initial outfit which was cute as well (I’ll have to save that one for another occasion and post) because the weather quickly went from 80 degrees to 50-degree weather in a matter of two days…. that’s October in Cincinnati for you. 😆
